At Midlands Car Electronics we have over 15 years experience in dealing with vehicle electronics and the problems that can arise with them. We offer complete mobile mileage correction, diagnostics, ECU re-mapping and chip tuning services. We have the ability to identify all problems associated with engine diagnostics and can fix many of the electronic issues there and then.
We provide a fully mobile service to all vehicle types. We cover all the Midlands area including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Oxford, Oxfordshire

Digital Mileage Correction,
Calibration & Reset
At Midlands Car Electronics we specialize in digital speedometer mileage correction, adjustment and calibration. We can adjust and calibrate almost all cars, vans and motorcycles with digital speedometers and odometers.
We utilise the latest testing and calibration instruments specifically designed for the mileage and speed correction, calibration and reset. We do this by connecting to your car’s on-board diagnostic (OBD) socket which means, in most cases, there is no need to disassemble any part of your vehicle.
ECU Re-Mapping & Tuning
We have decades of experience working with all forms of engine management systems. You may require work on your vehicles ECU if you are experiencing performance issues, poor MPG, engine misfiring or reduced torque.
All our ECU upgrades are specifically designed for your individual needs and engine/ECU version and can usually be completed without the need to remove the ECU from the vehicle. Our work is guaranteed and fully reversible, should you require your car to be returned to the standard ECU settings at a later date.
After your ECU is reprogrammed by Midlands Car Electronics you can expect that your engine performance issues will be resolved, providing you with more power, torque, faster throttle response and improved MPG*.

Digital Diagnostics

At Midland Car Electronics we can diagnose vehicle faults on virtually all makes and model of vehicle. We use the latest diagnostic equipment and software to identify and repair (where possible) any electronic faults your vehicle may have.
If your vehicle is displaying a warning light your vehicles on-board computer has detected a fault. Continuing to drive with a fault could cause serious damage to your vehicles engine and consequently your bank balance!
There are many different reasons why your vehicle may be displaying a warning light, such as engine problems, ABS faults, airbag lights not going out and electrical faults. We can quickly diagnose the issue and in many instances rectify the fault, where the fault is caused by a software error.
